Big picture: calm, guided, and not rushed

Your first visit at RedLight Freedom is meant to feel like a calm, guided experience, not a conveyor belt. You’ll sit down with the owner, walk through your goals, tour the studio, and then move into your 15-minute Prism Light Pod session with a clear understanding of what’s happening and why.

After the pod, you’ll finish on a low-vibration plate that helps move things along lymphatically while you watch short educational videos about lifestyle and recovery. The whole flow is simple, human, and focused on you.

Before you arrive: intake form & simple prep

We try to keep paperwork from interrupting your first visit. Before you ever walk into the studio, you’ll receive an intake form that:

  • Can be sent to you electronically,
  • Or accessed through the Book Now page on redlightfreedom.com.

Filling this out ahead of time lets us spend more of your visit talking and less time checking boxes.

We also recommend you:

  • Hydrate normally throughout the day (no need to overdo it).
  • Have a normal meal or snack beforehand — no fasting required.
  • Skip heavy lotions or oils on areas you want the light to reach.
  • Jot down any questions about medications, implants, or health history you want to ask.

Step 1: Welcome & 1:1 conversation in the office

When you arrive, you’re taken into a comfortable office — not straight into a machine room. You’re greeted by the owner with a smile and a simple question: “What are you hoping this will do for you?”

The conversation usually lasts around 15 minutes, depending on your questions. In that time, we:

  • Review your intake form and make sure we’re clear on your goals (waist inches, pain, energy, sleep, recovery, mood, or a mix).
  • Talk through any medical considerations that may mean you should check in with your doctor first.
  • Explain the Prism Light Pod in plain language — what it is, what it’s not, and how sessions are structured.

This isn’t a high-pressure sales moment. It’s simply where we make sure we understand your goals and you understand what the session can support.

Step 2: A quick tour so you know your way around

After your consult, you’re walked through the studio so nothing feels mysterious. You’ll be shown:

  • The Prism Light Pod room — where your full-body red light session happens.
  • The vibration plate room — a private room used after the pod to help with lymphatic movement and circulation at a low, comfortable vibration.

You’ll know where things are, what each room is for, and how the flow works from start to finish.

Step 3: Inside the Prism Light Pod room

In the pod room, we slow down and walk you through the details. You’ll see:

  • The Prism Light Pod itself, including the headrest and fan so you’re not overheated.
  • The preset programs on the pod — tailored for common needs like recovery, inflammation support, body composition goals, or general wellness.
  • Which preset we recommend for you, based on the goals you shared in the consult and intake form.
  • The call button on your right side so you can alert staff if anything doesn’t feel right or you need assistance.

We don’t just push a button and disappear. You’ll know what program is running and why we chose it for you.

Privacy, clothing, and eyewear

Once everything is explained, you’re left alone in a private room to get ready at your own pace. The door can be locked from the inside, and you control how much you want to uncover.

A few key points:

  • The more skin exposed to the red light, the better the coverage. Many guests choose to undress fully.
  • If you prefer to keep clothes on, you can — just understand that light will not pass through clothing, so we’ll help you position areas you most want exposed.
  • We provide eyewear/goggles for comfort and sensitivity. The pod uses non-UV red and near-infrared light, but some guests prefer the extra eye shielding, especially if they are light-sensitive.

Once you’re ready, you climb in slowly, lie back with your head on the headrest, and let us know when you’re comfortable before we start the session.

Step 4: Your 15-minute Prism Light Pod session

When the pod starts, most people are surprised by how calm and relaxing it feels. Here’s what you can expect:

  • The fan stays on to keep you comfortable and cool enough, even though the pod can feel gently warm.
  • You’ll see the red light (with or without goggles, depending on your choice) but you shouldn’t feel any burning or sharp discomfort.
  • You can close your eyes, pray, think, or treat it like a short quiet reset.

The session itself is about 15 minutes of light exposure. You are not locked in, and you can press the call button or speak up if anything doesn’t feel right.

Step 5: Stepping out, water, and how you feel

When the session ends, the lights power down and you slowly climb out of the pod. If you know ahead of time that you’ll need help getting in or out, we ask that you let us know in advance and bring a trusted friend or family member who can assist you safely.

You get dressed again at your own pace. When you’re ready:

  • You’re greeted by staff and offered water — many people feel thirsty.
  • We ask a few simple questions about how you feel right away.
  • We address any new questions that came up during your time in the pod.

A lot of first-time guests report feeling looser, calmer, and less “wound up” after that first session.

Step 6: The vibration plate — finishing the session

After the pod, you’re brought to the vibration plate room. This is a private room where you stand on a low-intensity vibration platform for a few minutes.

The vibration:

  • Is set at a comfortable, low level — not something that feels jarring or aggressive.
  • Helps support lymphatic flow and circulation as part of the full session.

While you’re on the plate, you watch short educational videos about what RedLight Freedom believes regarding:

  • Body and movement,
  • Nutrition patterns,
  • Lifestyle changes that enhance the red light experience.

The theme is simple: red light is powerful support, but your daily habits help turn those sessions into lasting changes.

What you leave with after visit #1

By the time you leave that first appointment, you should feel like you:

  • Understand exactly how the Prism Light Pod and vibration plate work.
  • Know what a full session feels like from door to door.
  • Have a sense of how your body responded — comfort, stiffness, calm, or other changes you noticed.
  • Walk out with a clear next-step plan based on your goals and schedule.

Some guests notice early changes quickly; others feel the impact build over a series of sessions combined with better sleep, nutrition, and movement. Either way, your first visit is about getting you comfortable, informed, and supported — not confused or rushed.
